Community Picnic |
| | Thursday Night Kick-Off | | | | The community picnic is a Frontier Days tradition that gets better every year. It is a great time for friends and neighbors to get together and celebrate the joys of living in a small town. The picnic is held every year in Haradine Park and is considered the official start to the Frontier Days weekend. The picnic this year will begin at 5:00 p.m. Carson City Village Market is our proud sponsor of this wonderful event.
During the picnic, there will be time for the kids to play on the park's wonderful facilities. Throughout the evening there will be music by DJ Dave Klienhardt. At 6:30 p.m., make sure you head to the banks of Fish Creek to watch the ever-popular Duck Race. Be sure you purchase your Duck Race ticket from a committee member before the race begins.
