Health and Safety Day

Kids' Health and Safety Day

Carson City Frontier Days, Inc. is proud to bring back Kids' Health and Safety Day. This year marks the 13th year of offering this event to our community. This wonderful community event will be held Saturday, June 2nd from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Carson City-Crystal High School complex.

There will be a variety of stations available for kids and their parents to participate in. All participants will walk away from this event with information, activities, materials, and products that will make their homes safe and themselves safer during their day-to-day activities.

We are excited to announce that the LEEP program will be back this year. The Law Enforcement Education Program (LEEP) will be bringing their Kids Fingerprinting program to our event.  The program provides parents with a FREE CD that includes the height, weight, and fingerprints of their child.  This CD can be used by police and the Amber Alert system to help bring missing children home safely.  This is one station that you are not going to want to miss.

The very popular bike helmet give-away, fire safety, internet safety, and summer are all back by popular demand. Some other stations included this year are health and nutrition, water safety, and toy safety.
Our local dentists' from Donohue and Donohue will be in attendance to talk about proper brushing and healthy teeth as well.

There will be many give-a-ways and drawings throughout the morning. Give-a-way items include toothbrushes, pencils, stickers, bike helmets, water bottles, sunglasses, crayons, coloring pages, and much more (while supplies last). Don't forget to stop by the drawing table and register to win some larger items like personal safety alarm, and bicycle lights.

This event is a must for all families in the Carson City area. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

A huge thank you to our sponsors of Kids' Health and Safety Day!
